CALL FOR PARTICIPATION (SCCRS 2005)

		 The 1st Summary Camp for Cultivating
		     Research Skills (SCCRS 2005)

			 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
			  August 8-10, 2005

GENERAL
=======

SCCRS 2005 is the first annual summer camp for improving, cultivating,
and enlightening several skills required for undergraduate and
graduate course students, who are willing to success in their research
field.  This summer camp is aimed at providing opportunities for
undergraduate/graduate students to deeply discuss and thoroughly
clarify motivation, objective, required skills, and possible pitfalls
on their research.

SCOPE & TOPICS
==============

SCCRS 2005 covers a broad range of topics include, but not limited to,
the following topics:

- Communication skills (e.g., debating and English conversation)
- Social skills
- Management skills
- Technical writing
- Computer/networking skills (e.g., programming, visualization, and
- simulation techniques)
